David Penn is former Keeper of Exhibits & Firearms at the Imperial War Museum and is now a consultant.
He is President of the Arms & Armour Society, a Vice President of the Historical Breechloading Smallarms Association, the Muzzle Loaders Association, the British Association for Shooting & Conservation and Secretary of the British Shooting Sports Council.
His interest is in 19th and early 20th century firearms.
